This is just a brief overview of the life and times of an amazing man with a massive zest for life and living. Feel free to click on the links for more detail.
The story of Stuart's breakthrough with the Auto Trader magazine which was a national success story of epic and almost Supernatural proportions. Nearly everyone who has lived in the USA over the last 4 decades has heard of Autotrader.
It was a fabled success story which propelled Mr. Arnold into a lifestyle and profiles that most have only dreamed of.

Of course, the Auto trader was not his only business pursuit. He launched CPN Studios which was  'state of the art' when founded and it competed with big studios in major capital cities. He was a tremendous real estate investor and all-round high-powered entrepreneurial genius. Even in his last decade with us, he displayed fantastic energy and vitality in all he engaged in.
Most Twentysomethings couldn’t keep up with him, even in his 70s.
(Accept his Grandson Curt also famous)
The fantastic thing is that even though Stuart was a man of wealth and benevolent notoriety, he always had time for the “little folks and friends in his life.”
For example, he loved to leave his beautiful Mansion Stuart Arnold built, behind on July 4 and return to his St Pete Beach roots at the little wood frame beach cottage, where he pioneered Autotrader magazine.  He would turn up in an old 10-year-old plus Cadillac and genuinely enjoy the simple barbecue and lawn chair camaraderie in the front yard with his family and locals. He could have been out driving a Ferrari to a world-class resort and watching fireworks from a Penthouse Suite. However, he seemed to had the wisdom to know family simplicity often trumps, even running with the rich and famous.  Check out Florida Trend 1996 article The Happiest Millionaire    Tampa Bay Times Article 9 26 2017 called his Epilogue: Lavis yet Humble, Stuart Arnolds Built the Auto Trader Empire.

Paul, a neighbor, said, "I had the privilege of spending the time of great fellowship and interesting discourse at one July 4 barbecue's in the front yard on St Pete Beach where Stuart was in attendance. After all, it was just across the street from our home." "Stuart struck me as a genuine man who really loved people and was genuinely interested in hearing their conversation and story. He was just as thrilled it seems to enjoy family fun, as flying a chopper to The Keys. Or flying his Lear Jet at close to Mach 1 to the Bahamas. He was overjoyed at watching a grandkid light a small firework display on the front lawn."
Stuart Arnolds most beloved home is indeed a mansion, and where he kept his chopper.

It is now being offered for sale.  Check out his Mansion via a pre-listing slide show   Not just a prime jewel piece of real estate. A discerning investor or homemaker will no doubt find themselves captivated, as it was first dreamed when he saw the land being developed Haddon Hall Place, a community of hidden estates.  Stuart Arnold saw Haddon Hall form and Haddon Hall Place, turned into into a winter wonderland every Christmas for his family and friend to enjoy.  Though he had many properties, a close associate of Stuart's told me that this property was his “favorite.”

This property is not only unique and stunning, tucked away yet central. But It is also a genuine piece of St Petersburg history. It was owned by one of the areas famous, favorite sons.  Check out the slide show of his home for sale now. It is hidden in central to 3 counties.
