Even before this home was built in the 1920's there was a desire to get healthy and move to Florida and its beautiful beaches and waterways full of fish and birds and Sunshine. Between 1908 and 1927 Ford would build some 15 million Model T cars. This of course, stimulated travel and became the dream of most was such contrast the white snow and cold of the Northern Hemisphere.
